Why SYDNEY?
Sydney, otherwise known as the Harbour City, is the largest city in Australia by population and is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and coastline in the world. It offers a diverse range of industry/employment opportunities, a very manageable climate and an exceptional lifestyle with so many outdoor attractions.
History
The first people to inhabit the Sydney Region were indigenous Australians, otherwise known as Aboriginals. They migrated from Northern Australia and prior to that from Southeast Asia. Lieutenant James Cook landed in Botany Bay on the 29th April 1770.
Captain Philip led the First Fleet of 11 ships and about 850 convicts into Botany Bay on 18 January 1788, though apparently he deemed the location as being unsuitable due to a lack of fresh water. He then travelled north and arrived at Port Jackson (otherwise known as Sydney Harbour) on 26 January 1788. Phillip described Sydney Cove as being “without exception the finest harbour in the world”.
Major Events
Sydney hosts a large number of sporting, cultural and historical events throughout the year. A number of these are focused around the Harbour and CBD areas, of which some area listed below;
Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race – the race starts on Sydney Harbour on Boxing Day every year
New Year’s Eve Fireworks – are regarded as one of the best in the world due to the spectacular Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks display.
Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras – parade is celebrated around March each year
Australia Day – is celebrated on Sydney Harbour and around the city

FAQS
What is a Sydney buyer’s agent?
A Sydney buyer’s agent is a real estate professional who represents the buyer to help you secure the best property that meets your brief. They manage and oversee all aspects of the property buying process, from researching and analysing the local market to organising inspections, liaising with conveyancers and taking the lead on the negotiations for you. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or professional investor, PMC Property Buyers takes the stress out of house hunting, bringing forth decades of experience to ensure you find a property that aligns with your goals.
Why would you use a Sydney buyer's agent?
Whether you’re a first-home buyer or investor, it’s safe to say you might not be an expert in buying a home. And by working with a Sydney buyer’s agent, you don’t have to be. A buyer’s agent takes care of the whole process, which can help you save time, effort, stress and money in the long run.
What services can a Sydney buyer’s agent provide?
A buying agent in Sydney manages the entire property buying process. Acting in your best interests, a buyer’s agent first gets to know you and what kind of property you’re looking for before liaising with their network of real estate professionals to compile a list of viable off-market/pre-market opportunities.
If you’re happy with the property, a buyer’s agent will get moving on securing the property, estimating its market value, conducting due diligence and managing the settlement process. If the property goes to auction, a Sydney buyer’s advocate will negotiate on your behalf to secure the most competitive price.
Can a buyer agent in Sydney assist interstate or overseas buyers?
Yes, while our buyer’s agents in Sydney are real estate specialists who frequently assist interstate and overseas buyers, PMC Property Buyers are also available to assist in Newcastle, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Our services are also available for interstate buyers and expats looking for the perfect family home or investment.

Community Support
At PMC Property, one of our core values as a business is giving back to the community in our local and surrounding areas.
Through active involvement in various support activities and consistent monthly contributions to the below charities since inception, we hope to assist with improving the lives of fellow Australians and protecting the environment in which we live.
Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club
Cause: Support a local Surf Club
Why we support Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club: They help keep one of our local beaches safe and promotes a healthy, outdoors lifestyle for their members. This club is close to our heart as Will has been a long standing member of Collaroy Surf Club.

Manly Marlins Rugby Club
Cause: Supporting grassroots sport locally
Why we support Manly Marlins: We sponsor the Manly Marlins Rugby Club because we believe in supporting local talent, fostering community spirit, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. The Marlins have a proud history, a strong connection to the Northern Beaches, and a culture of excellence that aligns with our values. Through this partnership, we’re proud to invest in the development of grassroots rugby and contribute to the growth of a club that inspires teamwork, resilience, and community pride.
Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter
Cause: Helping women in crisis
Why we support NBWS: We are privileged to buy and manage properties for our clients, but there are many in our local community of the Northern Beaches that are not so fortunate. The Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter are helping local women in crisis rebuild their lives and re-join the community. Run heavily on the time, talent and heart of wonderful volunteers and community networks which we are very proud to be a part of.
Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors
Cause: Wildlife Conservation
Why we support Wildlife Warriors: Population pressures and urban sprawl are putting considerable strains on our wildlife. The very industry we are involved with that houses the human population, often competes with the environment and it is our passion that we can all co-exist without being detrimental to the wildlife and their habitat.
Camp Quality
Cause: To Support Children with cancer
Why we support Camp Quality: This is a cause close to James and Will’s hearts. Will’s niece was diagnosed with a brain tumour before her 2nd birthday and James’s son was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma at age 6. Both of their experiences have highlighted how traumatic cancer is for young kids (and their families), what they have to endure and what they miss out on during their treatment and recovery. Camp Quality provides that hope and opportunity for young kids to experience what they would otherwise be missing out on. We hope that through our monthly donations, more kids that are suffering from cancer can laugh longer and enjoy their youth.
