Why Balgowlah Heights?
Balgowlah Heights, also known as ‘The Heights’ is located 11 kilometres north east of Sydney CBD and situated between both Balgowlah and North Balgowlah suburbs. City and local transport is readily available with good bus connections. Alternatively, Manly Wharf is just 7 minutes away offering a quick 30-minute ferry ride into Sydney CBD.
Balgowlah heights is a quiet yet convenient suburb with many streets providing stunning Harbour and city views. It is an easy walk to Balgowlah Heights shops, moments to Stockland Village and to a choice of Manly eateries. Forty Baskets Beach, North Harbour Reserve, the cafe, Tania Park and the marina are all at your doorstep.
From Dobroyd Head you can embark on the famous Manly to Spit coastal walk or the more challenging walk down to Crater Cove. Or for a more relaxed time, enjoy a picnic in the park, as you simply can’t go past the magnificent views Balgowlah Heights has to offer.

There are two local primary schools located in Balgowlah Heights. Balgowlah Heights Public School and St Cecilia’s Catholic School. High Schools include NBSC Balgowlah Boys which forms part of the Northern Beaches Secondary College along with NBSC Mackellar Girls Campus. A selection of Sydney’s Universities located in the CBD are also only a 30 minute bus ride away.
