Why North Narrabeen?

North Narrabeen is located 25 Kilometres north of Sydney city, with Warriewood, Elanora Heights and Narrabeen as its neighbouring suburbs. Wherever you live in North Narrabeen you are close to all its amenities including Warriewood Square shopping centre, Hoyts Cinema, the B-Line bus for transport into the CBD and a selection of numerous restaurants. The suburb wraps around the picturesque Narrabeen Lagoon/Lake and stretches to meet the ocean at Narrabeen Head and the North Narrabeen ocean pools.

The North Narrabeen surf break is world famous. With the North Narrabeen Board Riders Club a breading ground for some of the worlds best surfers including world champions. The break became a national surfing reserve in 2009 and hosts national and international surfing events.

Perfect for a walk, ride or run, the picturesque and very popular trail around Narrabeen Lake is approximately 8 and a half kilometres. The trail passes the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation where the local NRL team the Manly Sea Eagles train. On the cusp of Warriewood and North Narrabeen you will also discover The Beaches Markets that are held on Friday’s 8am-1pm. The markets have everything from fresh organic fruit, herbs and spices, food stalls with different cuisines, clothing boutiques and sometimes and petting zoo. They produce some of the finest groceries in the area, and it is where many locals with stock up on their fruit and veggies.

Demographics

There is a mixture of freestanding houses, townhouses, and small unit blocks within the area. The beachside suburb attracts downsizers, professional couples, young families and first home buyers who are looking for a smart family home. North Narrabeen also appeals to families who are ready to build their own small coastal retreat walking distance to the beach, yet close to the B-Line buses that can take them straight into the city.

Health, Education and Schooling

North Narrabeen has it’s own primary school, Narrabeen North Public School, and it’s own secondary school, Narrabeen Sports High School. There are also a number of other primary schools to choose from close by and the Northern Beaches Secondary College, Cromer Campus and another secondary school option.

The larger Northern Beaches Hospital is a short 15 minute drive away or alternatively Mona Vale Hospital is located north along Pittwater road approximately a 6 minutes away.
