Why North Manly?

North Manly is situated 17km north east of the Sydney CBD and is situated next to the suburb of Freshwater. Located close to Manly Wharf buses, a short 5 minute drive to Manly Vale’s B-line bus into the city and approximately a 10 minute near level bike ride to Queenscliff and Curl Curl beaches.

North Manly is a great family suburb and just moments away from the popular Freshwater Beach. Stroll to the tennis courts, Westfield Warringah Mall, North Manly Bowling club and the well-known Warringah Golf Club. The course is 18 holes and was established 70 years ago between Condamine Road and Pittwater Road. It is one of the areas favourite greens for professional and social golfers that also accommodates beginners.

North Manly is a quiet suburb with quick transport links to the hustle and bustle of Manly’s fine eateries. But is also close enough for a casual walk to Freshwater’s local village which offers a collection of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. You also can’t go past enjoying a drink at the local Stowaway Pizza Bar that has live acoustic music on the weekends.

Demographics

North Manly is a very popular suburb for young families, retirees, first home buyers and families. Especially those who would like to redevelop and up-size to their dream home, as this area presents a wonderful amount of opportunity. The homes in the suburb consist of a mix between freestanding original 1970’s red brick homes, new developments, weatherboard houses and Californian bungalows. Health, Education and Schooling

There are two Primary schools in the catchment area for North Manly, Harbord Public School and Brookvale Public school. Freshwater Senior Campus is also moments away which forms part of the Northern Beaches Secondary College along with the NBSC Balgowlah Boys and NBSC Mackellar Girls Campus. A selection of Sydney’s Universities in the CBD is a 40-minute bus ride.

The Northern Beaches Hospital located in Frenchs Forest and is a 20-minute drive away.
