A Successful Investment:

We were advised about this property as a pre-market listing. We inspected the property and initially assessed the property above this clients budget amount, so we left it at that. Six weeks later, we decided to attend the auction more so just to see whether there was an opportunity to secure the property under the clients budget but more importantly under market value.

The property was passed in at auction. We were the highest bidder at the auction which meant we had first right to negotiate with the sellers post auction. We were then able to secure the property $25,000 under where we believed its market value was, which was an extremely good result.

Post negotiations, the selling agent had interest from other parties at $600,000. This was a great result for our client as it gave us further validation that we had secured an investment grade blue chip asset below market value. This client was very happy with the outcome.
