The property comprised a pre-war character style cottage providing a neat and tidy standard of 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom accommodation, which had a good size back deck area and double side by side detached garage which in Toowoomba are a rarity. The property was located a mere 1kms from the Toowoomba CBD (walking distance) and right on the border of Toowoomba’s most prestigious suburb (East Toowoomba).

A Successful Investment:

The clients were a busy professional couple from interstate (NSW) who engaged us to source and secure their very first investment property. After several months of searching and with a couple of opportunities looked into along the way and not eventuating due to sellers expectations being too high, we managed to track down an off market opportunity in South Toowoomba which meet all the criteria of our clients brief and budget. During the contract process we managed to negotiate that the sellers have the decks cleaned/oiled as well as some other minor works completed. We also managed to negotiate a longer settlement period which took a lot of pressure of the entire process and meant we weren’t bound by time pressures making it a stress free process for our the clients.
