A Successful Investment:

The client was from interstate (NSW) wanting to secure a property that would provide an excellent rental return, tax offset whilst also being extremely low maintenance. After several weeks of searching we managed to source and secure a 5 year old duplex in Toowoomba providing a 6% gross return. The contract process was fairly smooth and we even managed to get the sellers to complete some minor repair works as part of the building and pest stage of the contract. We also through the stages of negotiations managed to get the existing property manager to lock in 2 new leases for 6 months following settlement meaning no vacancy for our client.
