Yeerongpilly is a suburb that most people would drive straight past due to being so small. Tucked between Yeronga and Moorooka, Yeerongpilly is a quiet and peaceful suburb that is home to a large portion of families. There is plenty of green space, great connection to the CBD via train and bus, and with the development of Yeronga Green next door to the Brisbane Tennis Centre, Yeerongpilly is likely to become more well known as the years go on. Yeerongpilly has approximately 370 houses and around 350 units so almost a 50% split of each, however the houses tend to be in one pocket with the units/townhouses in another. Yeerongpilly is about a 10 minute drive to the east of Brisbane CBD.

Similar to the split of housing, the demographics of Yeerongpilly are almost split down the middle. There are approximately 45% families and the balance made up of couples or singles. Most people are aged between 20-39 years old. Being reasonably close to the city but just that bit further than the areas with the funky bars and restaurants makes it slightly less popular to the younger generation, however it is extremely affordable which does make it enticing for those wanting to live close to the city without the added price tag.

Yeerongpilly schooling is Yeronga State school and it is within close proximity to the Green Bridge which connects it to the University of Queensland in St Lucia. Yeerongpilly is also well connected to the Greenslopes Private Hospital, Mater Private, Royal Childrens Hospital and the PA Hospital, all within about a 10-15 minute drive. Due to the large amount of parkland, the new development and the proximity to the CBD it is not hard to see why people would want to live here.
