Gordon Park is situated approximately 8 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and offers a lifestyle like very few suburbs in Brisbane as it is bordered by the Kedron Brook. The Brook is fantastic for walking, running, cycling or taking the dog to roam free in one of the largest off leash areas in Brisbane. There aren’t any schools or major shopping centres directly in Gordon Park so a lot of people drive past it every day and don’t even know it is there. Despite this it does offer fantastic access to public transport via the Northern Busway & Airport Link. Numerous private and state schools are just minutes away and is just down the road from Lutwyche, Stafford and Chermside Shopping Centres. It is also a short drive to Wilston Village cafe precinct which has numerous restaurants and boutique retail. An increasing number of smaller local cafe’s are popping up all within walking distance. This area is mostly made up of houses which equate to 55% of the suburb whilst the remainder are units and townhouses.
