Albion is situated 5 km north from the Brisbane CBD. Albion includes the Breakfast Creek which is home to the very popular heritage-listed Breakfast Creek Hotel. The Albion Park racecourse, a gallops venue for nearly 100 years, was converted into a harness racing venue in the early 1900s. The Allan Border Field at Crosby Park is adjacent to the Albion Park Raceway, and is home to the Queensland Cricket Association and features the Stuart Law Stand. Albion is quite a diverse suburb and has a wide mix of residential, commercial & industrial interspersed throughout. Furthermore the suburb has a different range of people who reside here which is highlighted in the housing numbers of 336 with more units (627) & townhouses (43). Whilst Albion has a wide mix demographically speaking, the suburb itself is very handy to the Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, Inner City Bypass and is right on the cusp of high quality locations such as Kalinga & Clayfield. Public transport options are excellent in this area with all residents having the choice of either a short bus or train into the city.
