Why Greenslopes?

Greenslopes is located approximately 6km from Brisbane’s CBD and is a suburb that has flown heavily under the radar for quite some time however is growing in popularity and appeal in recent years. Greenslopes has a large portion of protected/character housing that are being renovated, raised and converted to large family homes. Other pockets of Greenslopes are dominated by townhouses and small unit complexes from the 1970’s. These pockets are in slightly lower demand however due to the convenience to the busway at the entrance to the Pacific Motorway they are still moving in value.

Greenslopes has a small area of parkland reserve however the convenience of access to the hospitals, the proximity to the developing Stones Corner and the proximity to the city is what is driving demand. Due to the mix of housing (~40%), apartments and townhouses (~60%) the demographics vary quite dramatically. The predominate age is 20-39 years old which is understandable with the unit/townhouse living, however approximately 40% of the suburb is made up of families and this number is growing slightly each year.

Health, Education and Schooling

Greenslopes is home to the Greenslopes Private Hospital and this makes the suburb appealing for medical professionals buying property to be close to work. We have a number of medical professionals who we have assisted to purchase homes in Greenslopes. Greenslopes is only 5-10 minutes drive from the Mater Private hospital, Royal Childrens Hospital and the PA Hospital making it a medical hotspot.
Schooling falls within the Cavendish Rd State High School which has a very good reputation for Government Schooling. Greenslopes is also very close to Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) which is a highly regarded private boys school, Villanova College and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Primary School.
