Everton Park QLD 4053
Why Everton Park?
Everton Park is an established north-west Brisbane suburb around 8km from the CBD, with a predominantly residential character and a mix of post-war homes, brick and tile houses, renovated properties, townhouses and newer development.
Many of the original homes were built during the 1950s and 1960s, with more modern high-set brick homes and newer residences found throughout the northern parts of the suburb. Larger blocks and established gardens remain common, while redevelopment has added more contemporary housing in some pockets.
Everton Park has developed a strong local shopping and dining scene, particularly around Everton Park Laneway and the surrounding retail precincts. The suburb also benefits from access to the Kedron Brook corridor, nearby parks and the road network connecting towards Brisbane’s CBD, the airport and the western suburbs.
Demographics
As with many suburbs close to Brisbane’s CBD, Everton Park is changing as young professional families are now calling the suburb home. With the suburb’s high proportion of family style homes, Everton Park will continue to attract families, making this an ideal suburb for investors looking for a blue-chip location.
The areas around the retail precinct have been rezoned over the years to allow medium density, as a result this has increased the suburbs population fueling the need for what has now become the buzzing restaurant and café precinct of Everton Park Laneway.
