Woolloongabba is home to approximately 30% families which reside predominantly in the housing pockets. There are approximately 50% of couples which also includes a large number of medical professionals living in houses on Woolloongabba Hill due to the proximity to the hospitals. Health, Education and Schooling
Woolloongabba used to be part of the Brisbane State High School catchment zone however with the recent boundary change, it is now in part falling into the new Inner City South State Secondary College which is going to be one of Brisbane’s most technologically advanced schools. Dutton Park State School is also the current primary school and private schools like Somerville house or Churchie are in the neighbouring suburbs of South Brisbane and East Brisbane.
