A Successful Investment:

The client’s focus was to secure a property with a large land component with the focus being to create equity through capital growth. The property could potentially be subdivided subject to council consent, however was also set up as upstairs and downstairs living with separate kitchen / bathrooms meaning it would have a strong rental return. The property had strong interest from multiple parties. We went to auction and bid on the property against 3 other registered bidders and the property was passed in with our bid being the highest by $1,000 meaning we had first priority to negotiate post auction. We managed to secure the property for $5,000 more than the second highest bidder at auction however there was also 3 parties who submitted conditional offers post auction.
